GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) — The state port’s board of commissioners could announce a new director Monday.
The commission has scheduled a meeting for 10 a.m. in Gulfport.

The new director will be responsible for overseeing the port’s ongoing expansion. The port has added 84 acres to its West Pier, where the port hopes to attract a fifth tenant. Earth-moving work has been completed.
