SAN ANTONIO (AP) — A San Antonio jury has found a man guilty of human trafficking for forcing at least 10 women into prostitution.
Jurors delivered the verdict for 45-year-old Glen Dukes on Tuesday after deliberating for less than an hour.
Prosecutors say he lured women into homes and forced them into prostitution between 2011 and 2013. A woman testified Dukes provided his workers with drugs but kept the money they made from clients.
Dukes’ attorney questioned the accuracy of the women’s statements to police.
Dukes will face between 25 years to life in prison when sentencing begins Wednesday.
