D.C. police arrested a third man Friday for the murder of 29-year-old Darrel Hendy.
Law enforcement officials took 22-year-old Corey Yates, of southeast D.C., into custody around 2:30 p.m. Friday, following up on a grand jury indictment charging him with first degree murder while armed.
Police had already arrested 18-year-old Meeko Carraway in October 2010 and 36-year-old Chamontae Walker in April in the murder case.
Hendy was shot and killed on the 800 block of Southern Ave. SE on Sept. 25, 2010.
