Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh reiterated Monday that he has no intention of withdrawing his name from consideration, saying in a new interview he is “not going anywhere.”
“I’m not going to let false accusations drive us out of this process,” Kavanaugh told Fox News’ “The Story with Martha MacCallum” in an interview to be aired Monday evening. “We’re looking for a fair process where I can be heard defending my integrity, my lifelong record.”

Kavanaugh said his record includes “promoting dignity and equality for women,” beginning with women who knew him when he was as young as 14 years old.
Kavanaugh and his wife, Ashley Estes Kavanaugh, sat down with MacCallum for an interview that will be aired at 7 p.m.
“It’s very difficult to have these conversations with your children, which we’ve had to have,” Estes Kavanaugh said. “But they know Brett and they know the truth. And we told them at the very beginning of this process this will be not fun sometimes.”

Kavanaugh is facing two allegations of sexual misconduct, and he is set to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee about one of the accusations Thursday.
One woman, Christine Blasey Ford, accused Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her during a party in 1982, when he was in high school. A second woman, Deborah Ramirez, claimed Kavanaugh exposed himself to her during a party at Yale University during the 1983-1984 school year.
Kavanaugh has vehemently denied both claims.
“The truth is I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone, in high school or otherwise,” Kavanaugh told Fox News in the interview. “I am not questioning and have not questioned that perhaps Dr. Ford at some point in her life was sexually assaulted by someone at some place, but what I know is I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone.”
He said he was never at the party described by Ford and noted that others who Ford said were in attendance — Mark Judge, Patrick Smyth, and Leland Keyser — have also said they do not remember the party.
An attorney for Keyser told the Senate Judiciary Committee she does not know Kavanaugh.
