File this under “Just what we needed.” Gas prices have now hit an inflation-adjusted record high. If you drive an SUV, don’t be surprised to hear a soft snickering if I pull up next to you at the corner gas station.
Today’s news made for an especially fruitful brainstorming session following my daily coffee run. I came up with about five other very usable cartoons. My editor liked the “Unleaded/Unloaded” idea the best, but there’s a good possibility I’ll be using at least one of the others in the next few weeks. It’s always nice to have a couple extra cartoons “in the can.”
