ROMULUS, Mich. (AP) — Authorities say an auto engine plant has been evacuated after police received 911 calls about a man with a gun at the facility.
Romulus police Sgt. Corey Sadler tells The Associated Press that officers responded to the General Motors Co. engine plant after the calls about 6:10 a.m. Friday. He says police were speaking with the man and cleared everyone else from the facility.
Sadler says no injuries were reported. Officers are on the scene at the plant, which employs hundreds and makes a variety of six- and eight-cylinder engines.
