NEW YORK (AP) — A business executive convicted of charges in her firm’s handling of the National Basketball Players Association’s investments and finances has been sentenced in New York to six months’ house detention.
Federal Judge Jesse Furman also ordered 73-year-old Carolyn Kaufman, of Hudson, Ohio, to serve 500 hours of community service and pay a $25,000 fine.
