Better eating habits mean better health

If you wonder why you have to finish your vegetables before you leave the dinner table, the answer is very simple: good health.

Health is what gives you the energy for recess, sports, cheerleading and other fun activities. These things would not be possible without balanced meals and daily exercise.

Let?s start with some good eating habits:

» Make sure you eat a variety of foods, and include plenty of fruits and vegetables.

» Make sure you stay hydrated. Milk gives you strong bones because it has calcium. Cold water is also an excellent thirst-quencher.

» When you feel full, stop eating and save that bite for later.
