Elizabeth Warren visits Clinton’s campaign headquarters

Elizabeth Warren visited Hillary Clinton’s Brooklyn headquarters on Friday to give a pep talk to staff as they prepare for the general election.

Warren’s appearance will also add fuel to the fire for those who wonder if she may be selected as Clinton’s running mate.

During the short visit, Warren reportedly met with staffers, took photographs and spoke to prepare the group for the upcoming battle against presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump. She also thanked staffers for their hard work, urging them to continue through November.

After remaining neutral throughout the primary the liberal Massachusetts senator endorsed Clinton just last week, after the former secretary of state won the final primary contest in Washington, D.C.

The day after the primary Warren and Clinton met at the former secretary of state’s Washington home. As a progressive representative of the party, Warren has the ability to help Clinton win over Bernie Sanders supporters who want to see a more progressive Democratic Party platform.

Since then, Warren’s name has been repeatedly floated as a possible vice presidential choice for Clinton, but Warren has remained mum on the subject. In contrast, Clinton has been complimentary towards Warren in recent days. During a Politico interview last week she said that Warren is an “incredible public servant, eminently qualified for any role.” Clinton has also said that she would be open to the idea of a female running mate.
