Amazon is pulling Washington Redskins merchandise from its website after the National Football League called on the team to change its name.
The tech giant sent a note to sellers on Wednesday, telling them it intended to remove several products featuring the Redskins, including jerseys, T-shirts, and jewelry, according to a report by CNBC. Sellers were provided a 48-hour notice to review and remove any flagged products.

“With the announcement from the Washington team and the NFL, we are removing products with the team’s name and logo from our stores,” Amazon said in the notice. “Failure to properly close or delete all restricted product listings from your inventory may result in deactivation.”

Amazon joins several other retail giants such as Walmart, Target, and Nike no longer selling Redskins merchandise amid the rebranding efforts.
