NFL tight end Benjamin Watson urged the public not to look at anti-abortion issues in a “partisan way.”
“Standing for the vulnerable should be something that everybody can get behind,” the New England Patriots player told Fox News, stating that the March for Life on Friday had “people of all ages, all ethnicities, you have Democrats, Republicans, all joining us for life.”
Watson is promoting a new documentary of his called Divided Hearts of America that is set to come out this year.
“Movie to Movement is proud to announce a brand new film starring NFL star Benjamin Watson, releasing in theaters in 2020!” the documentary’s website says.
“Benjamin will star in a moving pro-life film that is being produced by Movie to Movement,” it said. “‘Divided Hearts of America’ powerfully exposes the brutality of abortion and the American abortion industry, and showcases the beauty and dignity of every human life.”
He has been an outspoken anti-abortion advocate for several years, and in 2018, he purchased a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine for a pregnancy center in Maryland.
