Do We Talk Too Much? I Think Not.

Because mere print doesn’t allow me to goof off in quite the way I feel necessary, I’m going back to video for a day or two.

A video chatting company, ooVoo, is letting me host a couple of online video chats with readers this week (which is not nearly as dirty as it sounds). The technology has been pretty fun to play around with and the video quality is great. All that’s required to join in is a webcam (I’m using the built-in one on my Mac) and a pair of earphones.

Joining me on the conferences will be one of my favorite bloggers, E.M. Zanotti of American Princess and NRO and Tech Republican and Blog Her, and who knows where else? She’s all over the place, and I hear she even has a day job, too!

I’ve chosen a couple broad political topics for the sessions.

Friday (tonight) at 7:15 p.m., we’re talking McCain’s Mojo. Is he getting it back? Where did it go? If it’s not here yet, can we rush its delivery?

Monday at 11 a.m., we’re gonna talk about Obama, in some way. Since I’m conservative, we’ll likely talk about the dollar bill and other American symbols for which Obama is insufficiently white, right? Sheesh. No, we will talk about policy problems with The One and other mature, real issues voters have with Obama that exist outside his cartoonish fantasy land.

So, to sign up to join the chats (there are limited spots), go to My Oovoo Day and find Ham Blog in the list. Then follow the simple directions to get started, and meet me at 7:15 p.m.

Let me know via comments if you have trouble signing up.
