UNION CITY, Ga. (AP) — State officials say a new Georgia distribution center planned by Wal-Mart Stores Inc. will create more than 400 jobs over the next three years.
Gov. Nathan Deal’s office said the 1.2-million-square-foot facility will support the Bentonville, Arkansas-based retailer’s e-commerce business.

Plans call for the facility to be built in the Union City area, southwest of Atlanta.
State officials say the facility is expected to begin operations in mid-2015.
