Violence Slows in Gaza; Partial Cease-fire Ends

The Israeli military says it has resumed its attacks on the Gaza Strip, ending a self-declared, seven-hour cease-fire. With Hamas rocket fire tapering off, and Israel’s ground operation in Gaza winding down, the fighting appears to be easing. (Aug. 4)
