Sebastian Gorka to join the MAGA Coalition to promote Trump agenda

Sebastian Gorka, former adviser to President Trump, will join the MAGA Coalition, an outside group dedicated to amplifying the president’s agenda.

The MAGA Coalition aims to “identify the obstructionists in DC and to advocate the America First principles that catapulted Donald Trump to the White House,” the group said in a statement announcing Gorka’s hiring that he shared with the Washington Examiner.Gorka stepped down from his White House position last month shortly after chief strategist Steve Bannon, with whom he is closely aligned, resigned.Gorka said it was “fake news” that he ever planned to return to Breitbart, the Bannon-led news outlet where he worked before joining the White House, after leaving the West Wing this summer. In late August, shortly after his White House departure, Gorka told Breitbart’s Matt Boyle in an interview on the outlet’s radio show that he planned to work with the “Breitbart crew” moving forward.

When asked about this statement, Gorka said, “I will be working on joint initiatives with Steve. But I am NOT working for Brietbart.”

He said the last day he worked at Breitbart was Jan. 19, and he noted he would not continue to work there after joining the MAGA Coalition.

Gorka has given frequent media appearances and speeches since his resignation from the administration.
