A 62-year-old motorcyclist has died from injuries she suffered in a collision with a van in Olney last week, Montgomery County police said.
The incident happened around 7 p.m. Friday. Cecilia Frances Tucker, of Highland, Md., was riding her 1995 Harley-Davidson motorcycle east on Olney Sandy Spring Road approaching Prince Phillip Drive. A white 2000 Ford van, driven by Eduardo Gutierrez, 45, of Germantown, was westbound on Olney Sandy Spring Road. He was attempting to make a left turn onto Prince Phillip Drive and collided with the motorcycle in the eastbound lanes.
Tucker was transported to a Baltimore hospital and died from the injuries Wednesday night. Gutierrez was treated at the scene.
