A D.C. police cruiser was involved in a crash with another vehicle Tuesday morning, officials said.
The accident occurred at 13th and U Streets NW. The officer driving the cruiser and the woman driving the other vehicle were both taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, D.C. police spokeswoman Saray Leon said.
Information on the cause of the crash was not immediately available.
