Police search for Annapolis bank robber

Anne Arundel County police are looking for a masked man who robbed an Annapolis bank.

The robber demanded money from bank tellers at Bank Annapolis, located at 1000 Bestgate Road, at 9:23 a.m. on Sept. 18, claiming he had a weapon. Bank tellers complied with his demands, and the man left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Authorities described him as a black male wearing a mask, gloves, a black hooded sweatshirt, tan pants and slip-on type footwear.

The bank heist capped a busy week for Anne Arundel County police, who are also searching for armed men who robbed an Annapolis 7-Eleven on Sept. 18, a CVS on Sept. 17, and a High’s store in Galesville on Sept. 16, according to the Capital Gazette.
