A juvenile male was shot in Northeast D.C. Sunday night, police said.
The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of 44th Street Northeast. The youth, whose age was not being released, was shot in the chest and was taken to a hospital, police spokesman Officer Araz Alali said.
Police issued a lookout for a black male who is 5-foot-6 and 135 pounds. He was wearing a blue sweater and blue jeans and was armed with a handgun.
