District police are investigating the death of a man found Sunday morning in a park near the Lincoln Memorial.
Police say they believe the unidentified adult male, who was found in West Potomac Park near the Potomac River shoreline, committed suicide. No foul play is suspected.
A U.S. Park Service employee discovered the body on Sunday morning, and handed the case over to D.C. police shortly before 10 a.m.
