D.C. police shot and wounded a man early Saturday morning after he attempted to ram his vehicle into two police cruisers.
Around 1:20 a.m. police were on the lookout for a suspect in a robbery that happened on the 300 block of Atlantic Street SE.

Two officers on the 4000 block of 3rd Street SE spotted the suspect’s vehicle and attempted to stop it. The driver then attempted to ram the police vehicles.
The officers opened fire, wounding the suspect. He was treated on the scene for non-life-threatening injuries, police said, and arrested.
