Police investigating Northeast D.C. sexual assault

D.C. police said that they are looking for information about a sexual assault in Northeast Washington.

The incident occurred Monday at about 11 p.m. in the 400 block of Taylor Street NE. The victim told police that she was walking when she was approached from behind by a man. Her attacker pushed her to the ground, sexually assaulted her and fled.

The suspect is described as a black male, 22 to 26 years old, 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds, with a medium complexion and short hair. He was clean shaven and wore a white T-shirt.
