U.S. Marshals say a College Park computer consultant wanted for allegedly molesting two girls at a Greenbelt park has been arrested in Pennsylvania.
Sean Robert O’Brien was arrested without incident by marshals deputies in Philadelphia overnight. O’Brien, 43, was wanted on two counts of child sex assault for an incident that allegedly happened at Lake Artemesia in August. The children were both under the age of 11.
O’Brien is in custody awaiting his return to Prince George’s County.
O’Brien has a previous conviction of two counts of indecent exposure in Pennsylvania in the early 1990s, authorities said.
O’Brien appeared in The Washington Examiner’s “Most Wanted” feature on Thursday, but his capture was not a result of a reader’s tip. Tips from readers of the newspaper have led directly to the arrests of 45 fugitives, including eight convicted murders or people wanted for murder.
