A man who was fatally shot in Southeast D.C. Tuesday afternoon has been identified.
The victim was 36 year-old Joe Roosevelt Richbow of Upper Marlboro, according to D.C. police.
About 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, police went to an apartment in the 2400 block of Elvans Road SE and found Richbow suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel did not find any signs consistent with life in Richbow, and he was pronounced dead by a member of the medical examiner’s office, police said.
No suspect information was available.
