The woman found dead inside a charred vehicle last week has been identified as 52-year-old Cheri Cusumano of McLean, police said.
Cusumano was driving a 2011 Toyota Sienna eastbound on Lewinsville Road on Sept. 18 when she lost control and struck a tree. The car rolled back into the road and caught on fire.
Police still do not know whether speed, alcohol or a medical condition were factors in the crash.
