District police say they have identified a suspect in a May stabbing death in Southeast D.C. <br/></div> <p><span class=”BodyCopy”>Police said 55-year-old William S. Hunt is wanted in the slaying of 48-year-old George White. White was found fatally stabbed on the 400 block of Newcomb Street SE at about 1:45 p.m. on May 20.</span></p> <p><span class=”BodyCopy”>Hunt was believed to have fled to North Carolina, but investigators think he is now in the New York City area, authorities said.</span></p> <p><span class=”BodyCopy”>Police did not describe a motive in the killing.</span></p> <p><span class=”BodyCopy”>Anyone with information about Hunt’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or 888-919-2746.
