A double shooting took place Sunday night in the District, police said.
Shortly after 10 p.m., police went to the area of New York Avenue and North Capitol Street. A male individual had been shot in the leg, and a female had been shot in the arm. They were conscious and breathing and were taken to a hospital, according to D.C. police.
No suspect information was available Monday morning.
