A driver was killed in McLean on Tuesday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash, according to Fairfax County police.
Police said the driver might have struck something, though it’s not clear what, while traveling on the 7800 block of Lewinsville Road at about 12:20 p.m.
The driver’s name was not yet available, according to police spokeswoman Shelly Broderick. Lewinsville Road remains closed while investigators work to reconstruct the scene of the crash, she said.
