ORIGINAL POST: A man was taken into custody at McPherson Square after being accused of sexual assault and theft.
Sgt. David Schlosser, a U.S. Park Police spokesman, told the Associated Press that the man was arrested Monday night.
The man had been living in McPherson Square as part of the Occupy D.C. movement, according to the AP.
Additional details about the alleged assault were not available. Schlosser could not immediately be reached for further comment.
