At least two people are dead and around 20 are injured after gunfire erupted outside a Miami-Dade County venue early Sunday morning.

Three people exited an SUV and started shooting into a crowd, which had rented out El Mula Banquet Hall for a concert, according to the Associated Press. Eight people were transported to local hospitals by authorities and at least another 12 checked themselves into medical facilities, Miami-Dade police wrote.

Police Director Alfredo “Freddy” Ramirez III confirmed the death toll at around 5:30 a.m. and called the incident “cowardly” and “targeted.”

“I am at the scene of another targeted and cowardly act of gun violence, where over 20 victims were shot and 2 have sadly died,” he wrote in a tweet. “These are cold blooded murderers that shot indiscriminately into a crowd and we will seek justice. My deepest condolences to the family of the victims.”

Marcus Lemonis, a TV personality and entrepreneur, offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest.

Ramirez thanked Lemonis for his contribution and urged the public to come forward.

“Grateful for this contribution @marcuslemonis! This is our community, we are stronger together,” he wrote. “We need our county to step up with information. If you know something, you can remain anonymous by calling @CrimeStopper305.”

A motive for the shooting remains unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
