Senator Dianne Feinstein of California will introduce an “assault weapons” ban today on Capitol Hill. Yesterday, Feinstein touted the announcement on Twitter:

Already CNN reporter Dana Bash is touting the introduction as “Must see tv.” According to Bash, Senator Feinstein “will have lots of assault weapons at her big event calling for a ban. And yes, she got permission from dc.”
