FEC Dem endorses #ResistTrump movement

In the latest sign that Democrats on the Federal Election Commission are antagonistic to President Trump, a key commissioner and recent chairwoman has endorsed the #ResistTrump movement.

In retweeting an anti-Trump message, Commissioner Ann Ravel joined with those who marched against the president in the weekend women’s event.

The retweeted message read, “Spread the word, we’ve got work to do after #WomensMarch to #ResistTrump.”

It directs users to a story on medium.com headlined, “Democracy Is Not A Spectator Sport.” It includes a tweet from Sen. Bernie Sanders and a call to action that includes Democratic fundraising, an action the FEC governs.

The FEC last week also revealed the votes on questions about the Trump campaign and showed Ravel voting against Trump. She has also spoken out against Trump’s top lawyer, former FEC Commissioner Donald F. McGahn II.
