Google: Searches for ‘Sanders’ more than 2X ‘Clinton’

People want to know about trending Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders.

A review of Google searches found that his name was searched nationally more than twice that of Hillary Rodham Clinton. The marketing group iQuanti found similar results in Iowa, which votes today in the first presidential contest of the year.

Donald Trump, however, was the dominant search, at over 5 million from June to December. Sanders was second at 2.9 million followed by Clinton at 1.2 million.
