The Democratic National Committee is quickly turning its focus and guns on presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, with the party boss laying out a five-point plan to “STOP DONALD TRUMP.”
A fundraising package signed by Chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, declares:
“Donald Trump will be the Republican Party’s nominee for president. This nightmare is now a reality.”

In calling on Democrats to set up a wall to block the New York businessman’s path to the White House, it presented five key issues for the fall election built on some of the headline-grabbing comments made by Trump.
-
We’re a country proud to be built by immigrants, but Trump is advocating deporting millions, tearing families apart and building a giant wall at our border.
-
He is running his campaign based on hate, and his extreme rhetoric has incited violence at his rallies, where he has asked his supporters to punch anyone who disagrees with his backward policies.
-
In a country founded on religious freedom, Trump and other Republicans want to ban Muslims from entering the United States.
-
His motto is to ‘Make America Great Again,’ which he reminds supporters of while he talks about expanding torture and killing innocent people because of their relatives.
-
He has offended nearly every group of people by insulting immigrants and POWs, mocking the disabled and making countless sexist comments.
In an accompanying letter, Wasserman Schultz warned that a GOP controlled Washington would kill Obamacare, end marriage equality and block comprehensive immigration reform.
“The Republicans, led by Donald Trump, want to prevent advancement on these issues and destroy all the progress we’ve made over the past eight years,” she wrote.
