President Donald Trump’s aggressive use of executive orders to set in place his most controversial agenda policies has won solid support from voters.
In a Napolitan News Service survey shared with Secrets, voters signaled support for the president’s moves to halt foreign aid, secure the border, and drain the swamp.

“It’s been a challenge keeping up with President Trump’s blizzard of executive orders and other actions, but the public response has been generally positive,” pollster Scott Rasmussen said.
While there is a partisan divide among supporters, with many more Republicans backing the president than Democrats, the embrace of his executive orders is still bipartisan.
For example, 60% of voters favored Trump’s decision to halt all foreign aid payments pending a review by his administration. That support came from 87% of Republicans and 31% of Democrats, the Napolitan analysis said.
On a key immigration move, 54% supported sending 88,000 IRS agents to help secure the southern border.
And 49% favored Trump’s executive order freezing federal hiring. For that, 74% of Republicans and 25% of Democrats agreed.

“The positive response is connected to the president’s priorities,” Rasmussen told Secrets.
“There has been a major focus on tackling the problem of illegal immigration and improving border security. Other than fixing the economy, nothing is more important to voters,” he said.
