Don’t fall for those big screen fists of rage in the new “Batman v Superman” movie. Those behind the costly new superheroes movie are actually fairly united in their fight for one side of the political theater, the Democrats.
A new analysis finds that the stars and others associated with the new movie have donated $58,000 to Democrats, including President Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton.
The Media Research Center business desk also reported that donations flowed to Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and liberal causes such as abortion rights.
According to MRC, Ben Affleck, who plays Batman in the movie panned by critics, gave $39,100 to Democrat politicians including Obama and Warren. He’s also attended Clinton fundraisers.
Writers David Goyer and Chris Terrio donated to Obama and Terrio to Clinton, said MRC.
Actress Holly Hunter, who plays Senator Finch in the DC Comic flick, gave $5,000 to the California Abortion Rights Action League in the early 1990s, where she served on the Board of Directors. In 2004, she also donated $2,000 to the Democratic National Committee.
