President Donald Trump is holding his first Cabinet meeting and has invited his billionaire adviser Elon Musk to sit in on it.

Musk is not an official Cabinet member and is technically serving as an adviser, according to the White House. He is heavily involved with the Trump administration’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency, which has been responsible for firing thousands of federal employees across the country.
