WHO: Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss.
WHAT: Not long after being appointed to replace the retiring Trent Lott last year, the now-former Mississippi congressman got a $6 million earmark for Aurora Flight Science, a defense contractor.
HOW: Aurora executives were top Wicker campaign contributors before the earmark, and a few days after his chief of staff resigned, he was first listed as an Aurora lobbyist. Wicker is following in the footsteps of Lott, who resigned to become a highly paid lobbyist on Capitol Hill.
