The Department of Justice is taking a harsher stance against parents challenging the indoctrination of their children than it did against those who rioted, looted, vandalized, and assaulted people in 2020.
Attorney General Merrick Garland has ordered the FBI to work with each U.S. attorney and “convene meetings with federal, state, local, Tribal, and territorial leaders in each federal judicial district within 30 days of the issuance of this memorandum” to develop strategies to “address threats against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff.”
And, yes, while there should absolutely not be any threats or violence, where were those concerns when Black Lives Matter groups and antifa were running amok?
There appears to be a two-tiered justice system. Democratic protesters are permitted — even encouraged — to riot, loot, destroy, harass, and assault innocent people. But protesters not matching Democratic values are vilified and targeted by the long arm of the law. Right now, this is occurring nationwide under the pretext of protecting teachers — note that there is precious little evidence any teacher is under physical threat.
The better question is, who is protecting parents and children from the toxic indoctrination occurring at these schools that is causing these parents to speak up? Perhaps they have finally had enough with the anti-American brainwashing that occurs at these institutions of education.
The media are Democrats’ accomplices in this matter. When Democrats dissent, they are portrayed as freedom fighters, pushing for noble and just causes. They are labeled as peaceful protesters. When Republicans do it, they are portrayed as terrorist threats, even though Leftist agitators cause far more crime and destruction through their efforts than any Republican protest.
The most obvious symbol of this hypocrisy was broadcast over the air when Democrats’ burning of buildings and assaults was labeled “mostly peaceful.” Where was the DOJ then?
Democrats do not care about our country’s cherished constitutional liberties of dissent, freedom of speech, and peaceful assembly. They want to outlaw all opposing opinions, and people should take note of their totalitarian intentions.
