Tonight Show host Jay Leno opened up the Tonight Show last night, with a joke about Tropical Storm Issac threatening to shut down the RNC convention.
“Well, let’s see, they’re now worried the tropical storm Isaac could hit Florida during next week’s Republican convention, but, Florida is ready for it. Thanks to President Obama’s economic policies, many of the businesses down there are already boarded up,” he said.
Leno noted that the audience response was different to Obama jokes.
“I love to watch a crowd go from Romney joke to Obama joke,” Leno said noting that the audience switched from “Oh, no.” on the Obama jokes to “That one’s okay” for Romney jokes.
