In a blogpost earlier today, I raised the question of whether the merged Delta/Northwest airline has been complying with government regulations requiring that passport downloads collected by the airline be cleared with the Department of Homeland Security before the plane takes off and in time for the airline to remove suspect passengers from the plane.
This afternoon I received an email from Kent Landers of Delta Media Relations. Here is the text:
