Comedian Stephen Colbert mocked Fox News on his show Tuesday night for its continuing coverage on the terrorist attacks of Benghazi.
Colbert mocked the network for hyping the upcoming House and Oversight Committee hearings on the Obama administration’s response to the attacks, featuring the testimony of three whistle-blowers. The hearings take place tomorrow.
“Folks, this is the best kind of political story. We have no idea what’s in it, and it’s going to be explosive,” Colbert joked. “It’s the Taco Bell of breaking news.”
