“He keeps adding ideological candy to the proposal.” complained Sen. Harry Reid in his opening remarks in the Senate today about the House Republican effort to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline project as part of the payroll tax cut bill.
Reid added that Boehner should meet with House Democrat leaders Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer to win the Democratic votes necessary to pass the house.
