MSNBC’s Al Sharpton hosted Dana Milbank of the Washington Post and Democratic strategist Bob Frum on his show last night to talk about the sexual harassment allegations surrounding Herman Cain.

Sharpton reminded viewers that he was not one to “rush to judgment,” on personal matters, but suggested there was more to the story.
Milbank noted that Cain’s supporters were very passionate, and a large number would excuse him on the issue.
“We could find out that he was some kind of psycho-killer and a large number of his supporters would say, ‘That’s great, at least he wasn’t in government.'” Milbank said sardonically.
“He’s plainly, unequivocally, lying here,” said Democratic strategist Bob Shrum, calling for the National Restaurant Association to release the records with the womens’ names redacted.
“Let me just say for the record, Mr. Cain that it was Bob that called you a liar, Dana said you could have been a serial killer,” Sharpton concluded, “I have opposed you because of the 999 plan, and because of the other things you have said policy, so my guests don’t reflect my opinion. This is a personal matter that you will deal with, but for the policy matters you have already sunk in my book.”
