Issa slams Obama’s ‘press release’ immigration policy

Some 33 House Republicans, led by Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Rep. Darrell Issa, Wednesday slammed President Obama‘s “press-release” immigration policies for luring tens of thousands of illegals into the U.S. with false hopes of freedom.

“The perception of eventual legal status has been generated through your administrative action,” the 33 said in a letter to the White House. “To counter these perceptions, you must take concrete action beyond editorials and press releases — you must end the failed policies that stimulated this unmanageable situation.”
