ICE agents wearing masks to arrest illegal immigrants set off political firestorm

President Donald Trump‘s mass deportation orders have sparked blowback against federal officers who are wearing face masks to carry out arrests to avoid being doxed.

In the midst of what may be the most contentious period in the history of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement, officers and agents assigned to make arrests on the streets in often unfriendly environments surrounded by upset community members are masking up, wearing hats, scarves, and other garments to cover their hair, eyes, mouths, and sometimes entire faces.
