The Pentagon announced Thursday that U.S. and Chinese defense officials will meet next week in Washington for defense talks.
In a statement, the Pentagon said the Feb. 5 talks will seek to build military-to-military engagement between the two countries.

The U.S. delegation will include representatives from the Joint Chiefs of Staff, U.S. Pacific Command, the State Department, and the National Security Council staff, a Pentagon spokesman said, while the Chinese delegation will include representatives of the Ministry of National Defense and relevant military bodies.
