The Salahis reappeared last week in the most peculiar of places. On Thursday night, Roll Call and FamousDC were throwing a happy hour for congressional staffers and other Hill folk at Cava Mezze when Tareq and Michaele Salahi breezed in with a bunch of cameras, swearing to Yeas & Nays that they didn’t crash the party. “No,” Tareq Salahi said. “This is fun, this is fun.” (A party planner later told Fresh 94.7 that “it’s not surprising those two would come crash our party for free drinks.”) They were accompanied by Australian pitchman Adam Whittaker, whose cleaning product, Vanish NapiSan, is looking to sponsor the White House for $25 million, like it was a football field or something. Yes, really.
