It’s becoming a trend among those raising funds to fight childhood cancer. Last month, WTOP’s Man About Town Bob Madigan was seen around town with a bald and beautiful look after shaving his head to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Now, the National Republican Congressional Committee’s political director Mike Shields is also seeking a shiny new ‘do. Shields will shave his head if he can raise $15,000 for the group. By Wednesday he was well on his way, having raised more than $13,000.
