Hicks served as press secretary for Trump’s campaign and has since worked as an aide to the president. Her desk at the White House is located just outside the Oval Office, and a Bloomberg reporter said she plans to remain at that physical desk.
The 28-year-old worked for the Trump Organization prior to her campaign work, including with Ivanka Trump’s fashion company.
Hicks hired former Justice Department attorney Robert Trout to represent her as special counsel Robert Mueller continues investigating possible collusion between Trump associates and Russia during the election, according to a report.
